Sandpearl Wedding April 9, 2011

Wendy and Samuel were one of my favorite couples. They were so sweet and so in love. From the first time I met Wendy , I was drawn in by her genuineness and knew I was really going to enjoy working with her on her vision for her wedding flowers. She wanted to incorporate the white sandy beaches of Clearwater Beach and yet honor the traditions of her heritage. She wanted sandblasted manzanita on her chuppah to bring in that beach element but decided to just drape it in flowing white organza to keep it simple and elegant. She continued that theme all the way through to the reception and she did a fantastic job of pulling it all together. During the reception the Groom even sang to her. So sweet ! Loved this couple and wish them many years of happiness!! I was also thrilled when Wendy hired Stephen Dohring as her photographer- amazing photographer ! So it is with special thanks to him for providing the pictures in this post.
Thank you and can't wait to work with you once more!

Clearwater Beach Weddings and Bridal Flowers

Spring is here and after a cold dreary winter, I am seeing lots of brides that are choosing bright colors for their weddings. I have to admit that I am enjoying the colors and they do convey a spirit of Spring and new beginnings. For centerpieces, I love mixing styles and shapes to express the bride's personality and I feel it offers more variety than doing the same arrangement on every table. Lanterns with flowers and flowers under glass are all fun ways to spice up your tables and make conversation pieces. We are inspired by your ideas and can help you bring it all together . Please call us at 727.785.2562 for a free design consultation.

Beach wedding flowers at The Sheraton Sand Key

Despite the heat, the unpredictable weather and the wind- nothing is prettier and more elegant than a beach wedding. Because of the elements , a beach wedding is not for the faint of heart. Planning ahead for a backup space is always advised . The plan should include where you are getting married, how you ceremony decorations will transform from outside to inside and how you will contact your guests and vendors and then a willing heart to accept anything that changes your plans. Remember the most important part of the day is the wedding and your new vows to your beloved- nothing else matters. Have fun and make it memorable!

We wish to thank Rebecca and the staff at Limelight Photography for their generous use of their photos of the wedding we did together.
They are amazing to work with.

Sandpearl- Private Dining Room

It has been awhile since I have posted a blog because we have been crazy busy with all the spring weddings. We have really enjoyed working with all of you and I love the ideas that you bring to me. Each one of you puts your signature on your weddings and it is so fun to assist with ideas to create the look you are wanting. Last Saturday was no exception. We worked by email with Stephanie from New York and we never even met her until the day before the wedding. We were able to perfectly achieve exactly the flower style she was going for. She was a wonderful client and planned a very intimate wedding. Congratulations!

We just received a review from the Mother of the Bride ....

Debbie,

I just wanted to thank you again for making Stephanie and Ryans ceremony backup site and reception area exquisite in every way. It was difficult putting all of this together long distance not knowing how it would turn out, but when we walked into the reception it really took our breath away, it was beyond what we hoped for. Our guests commented all night about how beautiful the flowers were and how great the room looked. But more importantly a very disappointed Bride and Groom felt the weight of the world lift when they saw those rooms. As the mother of the bride there are no words to express my gratitude for that.

If you ever need a referral from the kids or myself please do not hesitate to ask. I am sincere when I say that you guys saved the day for them and we feel blessed that we found you to do our flowers. I credit you and your staff for making a disappointing stressful day turn out to be the dream day they had planned regardless of the unfortunate weather and other logistical issues. It is absolutely true what the quote on your website says because you certainly "Exceeded our expectations with unparalleled style and expertise!"

Thank you so much!

Sandpearl wedding with a Sand Castle

We had the pleasure of working with Laura and Richard this past Sunday . It was a beautiful gorgeous day and all the details of the wedding reflected their special personalities. Richard personally greeted all his guests and as they walked down to the beach they were greeted by a sandcastle with the couples name on it. Refreshments were served before the wedding so that no one was ever found wanting for anything. After the ceremony Richard swept his new bride off her feet literally!! As they were taking pictures, drinks and refreshments were served on the Gulf Lawn of the Sandpearl http://www.sandpearl.com/ . Every where you looked you found people conversing and enjoying the perfect day. Marly at Beautiful Wedding Photography never missed an opportunity to capture every detail . http://www.beautifulweddingphotography.com/ After enjoying the fabulous food at the Sandpearl , they walked upstairs to The Cove Room which features a view of Clearwater Beach and the Gulf. Since the theme was fall, we did lush full centerpieces with vindela roses, leonitas roses, creamy hydrangea and rusty red lilies. We did a carved pumpkin with the couples name and wedding date on it and for the favors, the bride selected gourmet candy apples. The night cont. with more fabulous food served by the Sandpearl's award winning chef and dancing into the night. Kathy Demarco from the Sandpearl ensured that every detail was followed explicitely. Laura and Richard beamed with joy and it was a perfect start to the rest of the their life! Thanks for letting The Bride's Bouquet be a part of it!
