Weddings this week at the Rusty Pelican and The Don Cesar

This week as we usher out the old year , we will be delivering wedding flowers to The Rusty Pelican and then Sat Jan 2 at the Don Cesar. I am excited to do both because both brides have made great choices and I can't wait to see how it all comes together. A New Years Eve always sounds romantic and with the backdrop of the Tampa Bay and the lights of the city twinkling over the water, the party just starts to warm up. The DJ that night will be Felix and always knows how to keep the party moving - everyone is guaranteed to have more fun than they have ever had. Saturday at The Don Cesar, I will be working with a family that I have had the privilege to work with all four girls. In their cocktail room, they have planned to set up big screen TVs, so none of the football games are missed. Between the dancing and the games- it will be a wedding to remember and I get to be a part of both! Stay tuned for pictures!

Tiffany blue, starfish and crystals at The Sandpearl

Challenges are my specialty and I love it when a bride comes to me with a color scheme and theme and wants me to put it together for her. That was the case with Stephanie who got married at the Sandpearl on April 11. She wanted to incorporate the colors of her bridesmaids dresses- Tiffany blue with the beach and the sand but still wanted an elegant, classy wedding - beachy but not too beachy- and she wanted to add crytals to everything to add the sparkle that she loved. She also did a great job picking out shimmery sand colored linens and added her main color of Tiffany blue- we think the results were perfect ! Congratulations Stephanie and thank you for letting us be a part of your ceremony.

I just want to say thank you one last time for the amazing flowers at Maria & Shezad's wedding - while they are on their honeymoon, I am still enjoying the orchids and a few hydrangea that I have been babying to stay alive. I am saving some of the rose petals and letting them dry out to make a sachet for Maria.
