Martha Stewart Winner Sunday , Nov 9 at the Sandpearl

Pink was the color of the day for our Martha Stewart Wedding. Natalie chose pink hydrangea, white poenies, and shades of pink roses. We used large garden roses called esperance and double party to compliment her theme. Her dream was to have lots of sparkles for her fairy tale wedding and so we added flower jewelry to her bouquet and hanging crytals from the centerpieces. Congratulations Natalie and Tom! Enjoy your honeymoon on Clearwater Beach.

Wedding Nov 8 at the Sandpearl

Last weekend we had the pleasure of creating the flowers for Erica Wilensky at the Sandpearl. It was the perfect day for a beach wedding and the Chuppah on the boardwalk was set against the most gorgeous blue sky you could ever ask for. The theme was natural elegance and sunset colors of peach mini callas and green cymbidium orchids were used to compliment the rustic chuppah with curly willow. In the ballroom Erica selected tall glass vases that were lit by LED lighting and had 6 foot tall curly willow with cream open cut callas, peach callas and mango vanda orchids. It was the perfect choice for the tall ceilings in the ballroom . Congratulations Erica to all your attention to details !

Sandpearl wedding with a Sand Castle

We had the pleasure of working with Laura and Richard this past Sunday . It was a beautiful gorgeous day and all the details of the wedding reflected their special personalities. Richard personally greeted all his guests and as they walked down to the beach they were greeted by a sandcastle with the couples name on it. Refreshments were served before the wedding so that no one was ever found wanting for anything. After the ceremony Richard swept his new bride off her feet literally!! As they were taking pictures, drinks and refreshments were served on the Gulf Lawn of the Sandpearl http://www.sandpearl.com/ . Every where you looked you found people conversing and enjoying the perfect day. Marly at Beautiful Wedding Photography never missed an opportunity to capture every detail . http://www.beautifulweddingphotography.com/ After enjoying the fabulous food at the Sandpearl , they walked upstairs to The Cove Room which features a view of Clearwater Beach and the Gulf. Since the theme was fall, we did lush full centerpieces with vindela roses, leonitas roses, creamy hydrangea and rusty red lilies. We did a carved pumpkin with the couples name and wedding date on it and for the favors, the bride selected gourmet candy apples. The night cont. with more fabulous food served by the Sandpearl's award winning chef and dancing into the night. Kathy Demarco from the Sandpearl ensured that every detail was followed explicitely. Laura and Richard beamed with joy and it was a perfect start to the rest of the their life! Thanks for letting The Bride's Bouquet be a part of it!

How Floral Design Is a Fit

The reason my career focus is floral design is for the opportunity to work with people in an ever-changing and stimulating environment where I get to be a part of someone’s life for but a moment, yet assist in creating a lasting impression on their behalf with their guests and in their photos and memories. I aspire to decorate the tree at The White House one day, volunteer my services for large charitable functions and continue to learn through the inspirational direction of many talented known, and unknown Bridal industry leaders.

Oh, and by the way, you may see me on Survivor or The Amazing Race, for travel and experience are part of my creative inspirations and offerings for brides and events!

Did You Know?

The Hydrangea is available year-round, and come in many colors. Yes, it's true!

They naturally come as white, light blue, bright blue, hot pink, lavender and green. But wait, there's more...

This seemingly limited color selection is not limited by a floral designer, in that they can be sprayed to complement or match your bridal color scheme. And, sometimes they are less expensive than in their natural colors.

How so?

White and light blue hydrangeas are less expensive than the other colors, and are the easiest to effectively spray for impact and design.

Hydrangeas are a beautiful addition to casual and vintage-modern weddings.
