Don Cesar Wedding April 16, 2011

Our wedding today at the Don Cesar was a family affair. I first met with the bride and her parents to discuss the wedding flowers a few months ago. They were excited to talk about the vision they had for the South Terrace where the reception would be held and they wanted to transform the room. We discussed draping the entire ballroom with white sheer organza and uplighting the room in shades of pink and purples to add a romantic glow to the room. Then we decided to keep the florals white so as we turned down the lights, you would still be able to see their beauty. We used white hydrangea, white peonies , ivory garden roses and white phalenopsis orchids. Since the Don Cesar is known as the pink palace- the bride decided to add a pop of color to her head table and cake table in a beautiful shade of pink and accented the table top with a bling border. Stunning!
Her flowers for her bouquet consisted of pink and white peonies. Everything was set for a magical evening , so let the party begin- and boy did they party. I am not sure I have ever seen any group have more fun. Congratulations and best wishes to the newlyweds!! It was our pleasure to design your wedding flowers. Thank you!!
