Flower centerpieces for Innisbrook Resort

Last week we had a group at Innisbrook that wanted to use their flowers for a few days for their different events and we suggested Yellow lilies, orange roses and white callas in a glass cylinder vase. As you can tell from the pictures the yellow lilies are just starting to open and the roses would just become more beautiful over several days. We almost always suggest a glass vase for groups that want their flowers to last because it is the lack of water that kills the flowers . By putting them in a container with lots of water, they were guaranteed longevity. Yellow is a very popular color this year and pairing it with orange gives it a fresh look that is perfect for a group of men as well as ladies. Most people recognize as for flowers and weddings but most do not know that we can provide and design props for Fundraisers, batmizvahs and corporate events. We provided all the backdrops for MP and they were almost 30 feet tall. We even allowed for the real doors to the ballroom to open where the doors to the backdrop where. The backdrops can either be painted or printed and in any size. The white benches and streetlights were provided by us and all the lighting. Wedding Flowers at Innisbrook - Palm Harbor

So many of my clients have asked what the ceremony area at Innisbrook looks like set up for a wedding and the answer is it looks fabulous. The backdrop of the lake and the old oak are awesome. We kept the flowers natural with a willow arch and enhanced it with antique green hydrangea, plum mini callas, plum hydrangea and shades of lavender to purple vanda orchids. I love how rich it looks and I especially like how it fits right into the natural greenery. The Bride was radiant and her first look at the groom shows it. The bridesmaids carried hydrangea, mini callas and green cymbidium orchids wrapped in a deep plum ribbon . They really popped against the dresses and the girls loved them.
It was a beautiful wedding ceremony and we are glad we had a small part in it. Congratulations Brooke and Thure.

Tropical flowers at Innisbrook

Tonight we delivered tropical arrangements to Island Pool Clubhouse at Innisbrook for Brooke and Thure's rehearsal dinner. It looked like they might get rained out tonight and then right before we delivered the sun came out and was beautiful . The fun tropical flowers they chose for tonight were perfect poolside but tomorrow the reception in sterling hall will reflect a more elegant look .

It has been awhile since I have posted anything at Mirror Lake Lyceum but it is a fabulous place to have a wedding. It is an old church that has been converted to a wedding venue . So a lot of the features of the church - like the stain glass windows and the architectural features are perfect for that! You can bring in your own caterer which also allows you to create a wedding that is not the same as all others. I love that your flowers can be used in the ceremony area and then on the tables, really helps to stretch those dollars in the flower budget.

I am posting a few of tonight's pictures as well as one of the best DJ's in town- Ward Hemond http://www.granthemond.com/ Ward kept everyone on the dance floor and everyone was saying it was the most fun at a wedding that they have ever had. The mother of the bride was ecstatic with all the decorations we provided. It was so nice to work with such a great family.
